The vacant seats are distributed among various branches of State Bank. State Bank of Mysore has 725 posts, State Bank of Patiala has 1200 vacancies, State Bank of Travancore has 1300 posts, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur has 1000 posts and State Bank of Hyderabad has 2200 posts

Pay scale offered for the clerical post is Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300
Candidates with a minimum age limit of 20 and maximum age limit of 28 years as on December 1, 2014 are eligible to apply for the above-mentioned post.
Candidates completing graduation from a recognized board / University or equivalent qualification recognized by Central/State government are eligible to apply.
Candidate selection will be done merely based on the online written test followed by a personal interview. The written test comprises of various sections such as General Awareness, Marketing Aptitude, General English, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer knowledge. The candidates who get a merit score will be called for the final interview. For each vacancy, 3 candidates will be interviewed by the human resource team.
The application fee for the candidates who fall under General and OBC categories is 600Rs and the fee for candidates under SC/ST/PWD/XS categories is 100RS. Aspirants can pay the application fee either via Debit/Credit card /Internet banking or Challan.
Procedure to apply for SBI clerical post
The interested candidates with a passion of cracking this exam can submit the application in online by following the below procedure
Login to the official site of SBI https://www.sbi.co.in/
Enter the required details (such as date of birth, name, age, educational qualification, etc) in the designated fields and submit the data
After submitting the data successfully, you will get a registration number along with a password
Jot down the password and registration number and keep it safely for future reference
Candidates can open the application form by entering the registration number and password to make changes in the form
After confirming that all the details are correct, submit the form. You will be redirected to fee payment
Pay the application fee either in an online/offline mode. If the candidate chooses the payment option as offline, then fee payment Challan is generated after submitting the form. A payment gateway is available for the people who wanted to pay the fee in online
Once fee payment is done successfully, the registration process will be completed
Save the application form and e-receipt as soft copy or take the print out and retain for future reference
