JEE Mains 2015 Admit Cards Available For Download

The candidates who applied for the JEE Mains exam 2015 and those whose application forms have been successfully accepted may now go to JEE Main’s official website: and download their admit cards. The JEE Main for B.E./ will be held in two modes: the paper based and the online mode on different dates while the exam for B.Arch./ B. Planning will be held only in the pen and paper mode.

JEE Mains

The admission criteria for undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Centrally  Funded Technical colleges, colleges funded by participating State Governments, and other college will include a candidate’s performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). Moreover, the Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate  will be required to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs. The States of Gujarat, Punjab, Maharashtra, Haryana, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Hence, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitted  based on their State Level Examination will, from this academic session on be admitted in the college in which they seek admission through JEE (Main) – 2015 .

Type of examination

JEE (Main) – 2015 shall have two papers, Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) and Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.). Candidates have the option of taking Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.), or Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.), or both. A candidate is required to attempt the following subject exams in accordance with the paper he/she attempts:

JEE Advanced

Admission to NITs, IIITs and other institutions participating though Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on an All India Rank. The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE (Advanced) – 2015 is that the candidate is required to have passed in final examination of Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination and appearing in these examinations in 2015 can also appear in JEE (Advanced) – 2015 provisionally.
