NIT Hamirpur Lecturer Recruitment 2014


National Institute of Technology has announced notice for the recruitment of Lecturer Posts. The lecturer posts are for contract basic only but there is high chances of the post getting permanent after 3 years. The recruitment drive is for 8 different departments which are listed below.

a, Civil Engineering

b, Electrical engineering

c, Mechanical Engineering

d, Electronics and Comm. Engg

e, Computer science and engg

f, Chemical Engineering

g, Architecture

h, Centre for energy and environmental engineering

Educational Qualification.


Candidates should have either Ph.D degree or they should have excellent academics in Post graduate degree to apply for this post. Preference will be given for Ph.D candidates. But if have good marks in your post graduate degree and have ranks you can apply for this posts. Only for B.Arch lecturer post candidates who did graduation are eligible to apply.

Salary for the Lecture post is 47200 Rs if you have Ph.D degree and 43200 Rs if you have post graduation degree and Rs 40000 for B.Arch candidates.

3, Send this Application with photocopies of your educational certificates along with your Resume to NIT Hamirpur office.

4, The Application should reach the office before 20th of August

5, The applications will be filtered based on your qualification and marks obtained on all your degrees and candidates will be called based on this.

Candidates can check for the list of selected candidates for interview on 28th of August on the official website of NIT Hamirpur. The interview will be held on NIT campus on 2nd week of September for the selected candidates on 28-8-2014.

We are not clear about number of posts but we hope each department needs one lecturer.
