SBI Clerk 2014 Cut Off: Previous Year

The cut off has been increasing constantly from the last few years. In 2012, the cut off for the general and minority candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PD) are given below:

General English- 9 , 14

General Awareness- 8 , 11

Quantitative Aptitude- 12 , 17

Reasoning Ability- 10 , 14

Marketing Aptitude and Computer Knowledge- 10, 13

These marks are in the format- A, B. A is the cut off marks for the SC, ST and OBC candidates whereas B is the cut off marks for the general candidates. Full marks was 40 from each section.

These are just the qualifying marks. Final cut off marks is decided on the basis of overall marks. For the year 2012, the overall qualifying marks in written out of 200 was 119 for SC, OBC and OBC General candidates. On crossing 119 marks, they were called for interviews. Out of 35, the candidates were again given score. The lowest mark of the candidates who were finally selected is given category wise:

SC- 146/235

ST- 141/235

OBC- 163/235

Gen- 168/235 ( 71 percent ).

I am again repeating what I have said before. Try to score as much as possible. Do not just try to clear the cut off marks. General candidates must try to score a minimum of 75 percent marks in the written examination to increase the chances of getting qualified. The cut off marks for SBI Clerk recruitment exam 2014 is surely going to be higher than last two years.
